Trying to end my deviantART addiction

Since I was so addicted to dA, I'm going to spend less time on it. Over the summer I'd prefer to spend my time outdoors, drawing, or hanging out with friends. I'll still go on dA sometimes, but expect less comments from me and a longer time to reply. I'm also not going to post as much of my art. Also, ya'll don't have to say thanks or you're welcome and things like that, because that just gives me more messages and takes up more of my time.

I barely go on anymore. I was spending way too much time online and it wasn't even enjoyable anymore....
You CAN do that, you know. Just forbid yourself from going on dA for a few weeks.

But what do you DO on dA? I just got bored of it. I would say "OKay I'll go on for 5 minutes to check my messages" and then I'd end up being on for an hour saying "thanks for the fave" and reading a bunch of messages of people saying a smiley face or "you're welcome" or something like that. It just took up too much time.

I do what everyone else does when they go on dA: I check my messages. And then I go around, looking at pictures and stuff like that. I usually just keep logged on dA while I am on Youtube or drawing on Photoshop, and then when I'm done with the computer I log off.
